CC/CV Charging

CC/CV charging refers to constant current/constant voltage charging, a two-stage charging profile for lithium-ion batteries; it maximizes charging speed during the first phase and ensures safety and prevents overcharging during the second phase. In the constant current stage, the charger supplies a steady, high current to rapidly charge the battery and raise its voltage to the maximum safe threshold. Then, the charger switches to the constant voltage stage, maintaining the maximum voltage as the charging current tapers off, ending the charging cycle when the current drops to a specified minimum threshold.
