RoHS Compliance
RoHS compliance for batteries is technically not a requirement for standalone batteries, as specific regulations govern them. However, most manufacturers ensure their batteries are RoHS compliant to meet global market and environmental standards, meaning the materials within the battery contain levels below the maximum allowed thresholds for restricted hazardous substances. Substances restricted in RoHS standards include lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, and phthalates.
